A person who practices acupuncture may not

1. (1) give, prescribe, or recommend in the practice a

   1. (A) prescription drug;
   2. (B) controlled substance;
   3. (C) poison;
2. (2) engage in surgery; or
3. (3) use the word “physician” in the person's title unless the person is also licensed as a physician.
