In this chapter and in regulations adopted under this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise,

1. (1) “dealer” means a person engaged in the business of buying, selling, or exchanging vehicles of a type required to be registered under this chapter and who maintains a place of business or by word of mouth, advertising, or in any other manner represents to be in the business of buying, selling, or exchanging vehicles;
2. (2) “manufactured home” has the meaning given in AS 45.29.102;
3. (3) “vehicle” includes mobile homes for the purposes of provisions relating to certificates of title; in this paragraph, “mobile home” means a manufactured home.
