In AS 14.30.760 — 14.30.780,

1. (1) “district” has the meaning given in AS 14.17.990;
2. (2) “evidence-based reading intervention” means an intervention based on reliable, trustworthy, and valid evidence that has a demonstrated record of success in adequately increasing a student's reading competency in the areas of phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary development, reading fluency, oral language skills, and reading comprehension.
