Unless otherwise provided by an order of court issued in response to a petition filed under AS 10.55.610,

1. (1) an entity that fails or refuses to answer truthfully and fully interrogatories propounded by the department within the time prescribed by AS 10.55.610(b) is guilty of a class A misdemeanor; and
2. (2) the department need not file a document to which the interrogatories relate until the interrogatories are properly answered and need not file a document to which the interrogatories relate if the answers disclose that the document does not conform to the provisions of this chapter.
