If the employer objects in accordance with 8 AAC 45.535(c) to the employee's selection of a rehabilitation specialist, the administrator shall notify the employee and employer by mail of the rehabilitation specialist to be assigned. The following actions may be taken in response:

1. (1) within 10 days after receiving the administrator's notice, either the employer or the employee may file with the administrator a written notice objecting to the assignment; a copy of the notice must be served upon the other party and the rehabilitation specialist;
2. (2) if no objection is filed in accordance with (1) of this section, the rehabilitation specialist shall begin formulating a reemployment plan.
