In 7 AAC 140.200 - 7 AAC 140.229,

1. (1) "ambulatory services" means noninstitutional services that are payable under Medicaid and provided in accordance with this chapter; "ambulatory services" includes

   1. (A) visual care;
   2. (B) speech;
   3. (C) hearing;
   4. (D) language;
   5. (E) EPSDT;
   6. (F) podiatry;
   7. (G) nutrition;
   8. (H) private duty nursing;
   9. (I) hospice care;
   10. (J) family planning;
   11. (K) physical therapy;
   12. (L) occupational therapy;
   13. (M) chiropractic; and

   14. (N) services that are not primary care services, that are provided by a physician, physician assistant, or advanced practice registered nurse, that are within the scope of that individual's license to practice, and that are

       1. (i) provided in or by a hospital; or
       2. (ii) laboratory or x-ray services only;
2. (2) "change in the scope of service" has the meaning given in 7 AAC 145.700(k);
3. (3) "cost center" has the meaning given in 7 AAC 150.990;

4. (4) "health clinic"

   1. (A) means a federally qualified health center or a rural health clinic;
   2. (B) does not include a private or nonprofit medical practice or clinic that is not a federally qualified health center or rural health clinic;
5. (5) "visit" has the meaning given in 7 AAC 145.739.
