- (a) The department will pay for personal care services that are performed in accordance with 7 AAC 125.010 - 7 AAC 125.199 and applicable federal and state law.
- (b) The department will base payment on the documented and verified total time during which the personal care assistant performed services in accordance with the recipient's approved service level authorization under 7 AAC 125.024.
- (c) Repealed 1/26/2012.
- (d) The department will pay a personal care services agency for providing personal care services at the rate identified in 7 AAC 145.500. At least 50 percent of the annual total payment made by the department to a personal care services agency for personal care services must be disbursed to personal care assistants as payment for work performed.
- (e) A personal care assistant's rendering provider identification number must be associated with each claim that the personal care services agency submits to the department for Medicaid payment.
