(a) The department will pay an advanced practice registered nurse who meets the requirements of 7 AAC 110.100 for services provided that are within the scope of the advanced practice registered nurse's license to practice, including
(1) primary care, including
- (A) diagnosis and treatment of an illness or injury for children or adults; and
- (B) vaccine products and administration, in accordance with 7 AAC 110.750;
- (2) early and periodic screening, diagnosis, and treatment services; and
- (3) if applicable, dispensing of legend drugs in accordance with 7 AAC 110.100 and 7 AAC 120.100.
- (b) The department will pay an advanced practice registered nurse certified as a nurse midwife for services for a normal vaginal delivery performed at a free-standing birth center licensed under AS 47.32.
