A mental health professional designated by the department to conduct evaluations shall, on an annual basis, submit a statement to the department certifying that he or she continues to qualify as a mental health professional under AS 47.30.915(13). Upon receipt of the statement, the department will renew the designation for the next year unless it finds that the mental health professional no longer meets the standards for designation.
