1. (a) In order to maintain a child in the child's own home or to return a child to the child's own home, services or goods that may be authorized include

   1. (1) repealed 4/13/2011;
   2. (2) child care services;
   3. (3) counseling;
   4. (4) parent training;
   5. (5) community services; and
   6. (6) the services or goods described in 7 AAC 53.310, 7 AAC 53.320, and 7 AAC 53.330.

2. (b) The department may authorize the services or goods if

   1. (1) funding is available;
   2. (2) one or more of the services or goods is essential to prevent the out-of-home placement of the child, or to return the child to the child's own home;
   3. (3) one or more of the services or goods are essential to prevent the out-of-home placement of a child not in custody who is temporarily residing with a designated adult caregiver under a provision of an out-of-home safety plan;
   4. (4) the services or goods are consistent with the child's risk assessment and plan of services;
   5. (5) consideration has been given to the parent's ability to pay for the necessary services or goods; and
   6. (6) the provision of one or more of the services or goods removes a barrier for the safety of the child or might prevent the further delinquency of the child.
