Alaska Admin. Code tit. 7, § 52.315
Each facility must have a review board consisting of three persons appointed by the superintendent. The members must be experienced in resident programming and treatment procedures. The board shall meet at least once each week, and shall consider matters of discipline, release, leave longer than 72 hours, major status change, and work or school outside the institution. The board shall review each resident's progress at least once every six months. The assigned probation officer may participate and may offer recommendations on matters dealing with residents. The board is the body with final decision-making authority within a facility, and shall conduct its proceedings in a formal manner.
