To obtain approval by the department of a specialization designation described in 7 AAC 50.605 - 7 AAC 50.650, a facility must demonstrate its ability to comply with the requirements set out in AS 47.32 and this chapter applicable to that specialization. The department will approve a requested specialization designation if the department determines that the facility is able to satisfy those applicable requirements.
