1. (a) An individual is entitled to a prompt hearing before a department representative, upon oral or written request directed to any division employee, if

   1. (1) the individual's application is not acted upon within 30 days after receipt by the department;
   2. (2) the individual's application is modified or denied; or
   3. (3) the individual's assistance is reduced or discontinued.
2. (b) The hearing will be conducted under the procedures established in 7 AAC 49.
