(a) Unless the context indicates otherwise, in this chapter
- (1) "department" means the Department of Health;
- (2) "division" means the division of public assistance in the department;
- (3) "state agency" means the division;
- (4) "public assistance" means Old Age Assistance, Aid to the Disabled, Aid to the Blind, General Relief, Alaska Temporary Assistance Program, Medicaid, General Relief Medical Assistance, and Heating Assistance.
- (b) Except as provided in (a) of this section, the definitions contained in 7 CFR 271 - 273 are adopted by reference.
- (c) The CFR reference in this section is to regulations as revised as of January 1, 1985.
