In this chapter, unless indicated otherwise

1. (1) "department" means Department of Health;

4. (4) "embalm" means to chemically treat human remains to reduce the presence and growth of microorganisms, to temporarily inhibit organic decomposition, and to restore an acceptable physical appearance;

11. (11) "infectious disease" has the meaning given in AS 18.15.395.
