The purpose of this chapter is to provide a procedure for obtaining a medical marijuana registry identification card under AS 17.37.010, to implement a registry of patients who have been issued a registry identification card, to ensure that registry information is provided only to authorized persons, and to set out a procedure for considering proposals to add other debilitating medical conditions to those listed under AS 17.37.070.
