1. (a) The department will approve

   1. (1) an epinephrine auto-injector training program that meets the department's Standards for the Approval of Training Programs for Emergency Use of Epinephrine, dated 2011, and adopted by reference;
   2. (2) an epinephrine ampule training program that meets the department's Standards for the Approval of Training Programs for Emergency Use of Epinephrine, dated 2011, and adopted by reference;
2. (b) An organization that is requesting approval of a training program under (a)(2) of this section must be under the authority of a medical director.
3. (c) In this section, "ampule" means ampule, multi-dose vial, or prefilled syringe.
