Cabinet radiography is exempt from the requirements of 7 AAC 18.500 - 7 AAC 18.570, except that a registrant of a cabinet radiographic unit may not permit an individual to operate the unit until the individual has received a copy of, been instructed in, and demonstrated an understanding of operating procedures for the unit, and has demonstrated competence in the use of the procedure.
