Notwithstanding 6 AAC 27.170(c), the director may require a voter to verify the physical location of the voter's residence, by means of an attestation to the fact, in order to qualify to vote in (1) a municipal incorporation election under AS 29.05.110; or (2) a local option election under AS 04.11.491 - 04.11.495, conducted by the division under AS 04.11.507. The attestation of the voter regarding the physical location of the voter's residence in accordance with this section is presumptive evidence of the voter's residence.
