A permit holder must submit an annual report to the commissioner for each aquarium stocking permit held by the permit holder. Reports are public information. The commissioner will not issue another aquarium stocking permit to a permit holder unless the permit holder has complied with the reporting requirements of this section and met other applicable requirements.

1. (a) The report shall include: number of each species collected, date and place taken, disposition of the specimens, and, if applicable, sex, life stage, age, lengths and weights of organisms, and any other information specified in the permit.
2. (b) If a project involving the holding of specimens will continue past the permit expiration date, a report and new application must be submitted before expiration to ensure a new permit authorizes the continued holding of the specimens.
