In that portion of the area north of the latitude of Cape Newenham, shellfish may only be taken by shovel, jigging gear, pots, crab hook, and ring net; in this section, a "crab hook" is a handheld pole with one or more projections used to lift a crab to the water surface without piercing the crab.
