1. (a) The Alaska Board of Fisheries (board) finds that king crab, Tanner crab, Dungeness crab, and miscellaneous shellfish are customarily and traditionally used for subsistence in the Alaska Peninsula-Aleutian Islands Area.
2. (b) The board finds that 1,200 - 7,400 king crab are reasonably necessary for subsistence uses in the Alaska Peninsula-Aleutian Islands Area, which includes 800 - 6,000 king crab within the waters west of the longitude of Scotch Cap Light (166° 44' W. long.) and east of 168° W. long.
3. (c) The board finds that 4,200 - 16,200 Tanner crab are reasonably necessary for subsistence uses in the Alaska Peninsula-Aleutian Islands Area, which includes 1,500 - 8,000 Tanner crab within the waters west of the longitude of Scotch Cap Light (166° 44' W. long.) and east of 168° W. long.
4. (d) The board finds that 22,000 - 68,000 pounds of usable weight of Dungeness crab and miscellaneous shellfish are reasonably necessary for subsistence purposes in the Alaska Peninsula - Aleutian Island Area and that portion of the Kodiak Area described in 5 AAC 02.466(b)(5), combined.
