The Alaska Peninsula-Aleutian Islands Area includes Pacific Ocean waters west of the longitude of Cape Kumlik (157° 27' W. long.), east of 172° E. long. and shoreward of the 800-fathom (1,463 m) depth contour, and Bering Sea waters east of 172° E. long. and south of 54° 36' N. lat.
