The Kodiak Area has as its northern boundary the latitude of Cape Douglas (58° 51.10' N. lat.), its western boundary the longitude of Cape Kumlik (157° 27.00' W. long.), its eastern boundary the longitude of Cape Fairfield (148° 50.25' W. long.), and its seaward boundary the 300-fathom (549 m) depth contour.
