- (a) Except for the western shore of the Newhalen River, waters within 300 feet of a stream mouth used by salmon are closed to the subsistence taking of fish.
- (b) Unless otherwise specified in 5 AAC 01.320, gillnets are prohibited in all waters of the Naknek River drainage upstream of Savonaski, from June 1 through October 1.
(c) From September 1 through June 14, subsistence fishing with a net is prohibited in the following waters and within one-fourth mile of the terminus of those waters:
- (1) Lower Talarik Creek;
- (2) Middle Talarik Creek;
- (3) Upper Talarik Creek;
- (4) Pete Andrew Creek;
- (5) Zacker Creek;
- (6) Newhalen River;
- (7) Roadhouse Creek;
- (8) Alexi Creek;
- (9) Taziminia River;
- (10) Young's Creek;
- (11) Chekok Creek;
- (12) Tomkok Creek;
- (13) Nick G. Creek;
- (14) Copper River;
- (15) Kakhonak River;
- (16) Gibralter River;
- (17) Dennis Creek;
- (18) Belinda Creek.
- (d) Waters described in 5 AAC 27.850 are closed to the taking of herring and capelin.
