1. (a) Salmon may be taken for subsistence purposes from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. from January 1 through December 31, with the following exceptions:

   1. (1) from June 1 through September 15, salmon seine vessels may not be used to take subsistence salmon for 24 hours before, during, and for 24 hours after any open commercial salmon fishing period;
   2. (2) from June 1 through September 15, purse seine vessels may be used to take salmon only with gillnets and no other type of salmon gear may be on board the vessel.
2. (b) Repealed 6/30/83.

3. (c) Fish, other than salmon, rainbow trout, steelhead trout, lingcod, and herring, may be taken at any time unless restricted by the terms of a subsistence fishing permit. Rainbow trout and steelhead trout taken incidentally in other subsistence finfish net fisheries are lawfully taken and may be retained for subsistence purposes. Lingcod and rockfish taken incidentally in other subsistence finfish fisheries are lawfully taken and may be retained for subsistence purposes, except that

   1. (1) lingcod may be taken only from July 1 through December 31; and
   2. (2) a person may take no more than two lingcod and 10 rockfish incidentally per day under this subsection.
4. (d) Lingcod may be taken for subsistence purposes only from July 1 through December 31.
