As used in 4 AAC 52.800 - 4 AAC 52.890, unless the context requires otherwise,

1. (1) repealed 3/21/2002;
2. (2) "gifted" means exhibiting outstanding intellect, ability, or creative talent;

3. (3) "parent" means a

   1. (A) biological or adoptive parent of a child;
   2. (B) guardian, but not the state if the child is a ward of the state;
   3. (C) person who is acting in the place of a biological or adoptive parent, such as a grandparent or stepparent with whom the child lives, or a person who is legally responsible for the child's welfare;
4. (4) repealed 3/21/2002;
5. (5) repealed 3/21/2002.
