The purpose of 4 AAC 33.405 - 4 AAC 33.490 is to

1. (1) ensure that standards for curriculum, instruction, and student assessment for correspondence study programs are consistent with state standards;
2. (2) ensure that the spending of public money by the programs is consistent with the public interest; and
3. (3) establish reporting requirements for districts enrolling out-of-district students and part-time students.
