Unless otherwise required under AS 42.05, a requirement in 3 AAC 52.730 - 3 AAC 52.738 may be modified or waived, in whole or in part, by order of the commission, on the commission's own motion or on a showing that the waiver or modification is in the public interest. An entity shall file and the commission will consider an application for waiver in accordance with 3 AAC 48.805.
