Unless otherwise provided by law, the compliance date of a change under an individual or group insurance policy or any related notice of proposed insurance, insurance disclosure notice, application for insurance, endorsement, rider, or premium rates as a result of a change to this chapter is the issue date for a new policy or the renewal date for a renewal policy.
