1. (a) Before any company shall deliver or issue for delivery variable contracts within this state, it shall submit a general description of the kinds of variable contracts it intends to issue to the director and comply with the filing procedure outlined in 3 AAC 28.200.

2. (b) The director may request

   1. (1) a copy of the statutes and regulations of its state of domicile under which it is authorized to issue variable contracts; and
   2. (2) biographical data in the NAIC uniform biographical data form with respect to officers and directors of the company.
