In addition to the information required by 3 AAC 21.186, and if necessary to make a determination of the potential competitive impact of the proposed merger or acquisition, the director will, in the director's discretion, require an expert selected by the applicant and approved by the director to provide an expert opinion as to that impact. The expert opinion must be prepared at the expense of the applicant.
