1. (a) To be eligible for a grant, proposed projects must fall within one of the following categories:

   1. (1) ice-making and storage infrastructure projects providing service to the coastal area of

      1. (A) Baranof Island;
      2. (B) Wrangell Island; or
      3. (C) Prince of Wales Island;
   2. (2) boat haulout equipment in the Southeast region north of Cape Spencer and east of Cape Suckling;
   3. (3) infrastructure to support the commercial troll salmon fishery;

   4. (4) infrastructure projects that will provide a lasting benefit to the sport chinook salmon fishery under one or more of the following criteria:

      1. (A) fish cleaning float improvements;
      2. (B) fish waste disposal;
      3. (C) improved access to ice;
2. (b) An eligible entity may apply for a minimum of $15,000 in grant money.

3. (c) An eligible entity may apply for a maximum of

   1. (1) $240,000 in grant money, for a project in the category set out in (a)(1)(A) of this section;
   2. (2) $200,000 in grant money, for a project in the category set out in (a)(1)(B) of this section;
   3. (3) $120,000 in grant money, for a project in the category set out in (a)(1)(C) of this section;
   4. (4) $50,000 in grant money, for a project in a category set out in (a)(2) or (3) of this section;
   5. (5) $250,000 in grant money, for a project in a category set out in (a)(4)(A) or (B) of this section;
   6. (6) $75,000 in grant money, for a project in the category set out in (a)(4)(C) of this section.
