A prisoner may be granted a prerelease or short-duration furlough for a purpose listed in AS 33.30.101(a), after consideration of the factors in AS 33.30.101(b) and after meeting the criteria set out in 22 AAC 05.321 or 22 AAC 05.326, as appropriate.
