- (a) While on duty, an employee of the department shall wear a uniform or other clothing in accordance with requirements established by the commissioner.
- (b) Except when acting under proper and specific orders from a supervisor, an employee on duty shall maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance in accordance with (a) of this section.
