1. (a) The council will evaluate a school's application for an artists in schools program grant using the following criteria:

   1. (1) residency activities and format;
   2. (2) goals, objectives, and planning of the residency;
   3. (3) residency facilities and community information; and
   4. (4) budget.

2. (b) The council will evaluate an application of an artist to be included in the artists in schools teaching artist roster using the following criteria:

   1. (1) quality of the artist's work;
   2. (2) the artist's training, education, and experience;
   3. (3) the artist's statement; and
   4. (4) adaptability and suitability of the artist to the artists in schools program.
