The purpose of the career opportunity grant is to provide financial assistance to professional artists, arts administrators, and arts education professionals for

1. (1) travel to an in-state, national, or international event, program, or seminar; and
2. (2) other activities that will contribute to the strength of the applicant's professional standing or skill.
