The council will evaluate each application for a community arts development grant as set out in the guidelines and application form, adopted by reference in 20 AAC 30.983(9), for a community arts development grant, and using the following criteria:
- (1) need for the activity in the applicant's community;
- (2) audience and number of participants served;
- (3) the qualifications of the artist or arts professional who will be involved with the proposed activity;
- (4) the extent to which the activity serves a community that lacks access to other arts programs, services, or resources due to geography, economic conditions, cultural background, sociopolitical circumstances, disability, age, or other demonstrable factors.
