Alaska Admin. Code tit. 2, § 90.010 – Applicability of 2 AAC 90.010 - 2 AAC 90.055

(a) The provisions of 2 AAC 90.010 - 2 AAC 90.055 apply to a person who is required to possess a license under AS 28.15.046(a) in order to transport school children. A person is exempt from the requirements of AS 28.15.046 and 2 AAC 90.010 - 2 AAC 90.055 if the person is operating
1. (1) a personal vehicle for which compensation is not received for transporting school children;
2. (2) a school bus that is a multifunction school activity bus (MFSAB), the purposes of which do not include transporting students to and from home or school bus stops; or
3. (3) a bus as part of a public urban transportation system, and the transportation of school children is incidental to the main purpose of the travel.
(b) In 2 AAC 90.010 - 2 AAC 90.055, "school bus driver endorsement" and "endorsement" have the same meaning as a "license" referred to in AS 28.15.046.
