1. (a) In addition to the wastes listed in 18 AAC.62.1100, electronic waste may be managed as universal waste in accordance with 18 AAC 62.1100 - 18 AAC 62.1160, or alternatively in accordance with 18 AAC 62.010 - 18 AAC 62.970.
2. (b) Electronic waste that is not a characteristic hazardous waste as determined by a toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) performed on that specific item or model by the generator or manufacturer, or other documentation provided by the manufacturer and approved by EPA or the department, may be managed as solid waste as set out under 18 AAC 60.
