- (a) The purpose of this chapter is to promote proper management of hazardous waste by generators, handlers, transporters, and hazardous waste management facilities in a manner that meets the purposes set out in AS 46.03 and in accordance with 42 U.S.C. 6921 - 6939g (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Subchapter III), and meets the requirements adopted by reference in this chapter.
- (b) This chapter applies to the generation, handling, storage, transport, treatment, or disposal of hazardous waste.
