Liquids restrictions

(a) Bulk or noncontainerized liquid waste may not be placed in a MSWLF unless
(1) the waste is
- (A) household waste other than septage; or
- (B) leachate or gas condensate derived from the MSWLF, and the MSWLF is designed with a bottom liner that meets the standard set in 18 AAC 60.330(c); or
- (2) the MSWLF is a Class I MSWLF with a research, development, and demonstration permit under 18 AAC 60.213 that allows the Class I MSWLF to utilize methods that vary from the requirements of (1)(B) of this subsection.
- (b) A container holding liquid waste may not be placed in a MSWLF unless the container holds one gallon of liquid or less.
- (c) The site operator shall keep records of leachate recirculation, including how much leachate was returned to the waste and when it was returned.
