1. (a) A new landfill or lateral expansion of an existing landfill may not be constructed within 500 feet of a well used as a drinking water supply.
2. (b) A person shall dispose of septage, sewage solids, fish waste, animal manure, and animal byproducts or waste in accordance with the minimum separation distances in 18 AAC 80 for public water systems and in 18 AAC 72 for private water systems.
