Because of significant health hazards and the potential for human illness, the operator of a food establishment may not allow the following food in the food establishment under any circumstance:

1. (1) molluscan shellfish, unless the operator complies with 18 AAC 31.200(c)(6) and (d) and 18 AAC 31.335;

2. (2) the following game meats and oils:

   1. (A) fox meat;
   2. (B) polar bear meat;
   3. (C) bear meat;
   4. (D) walrus meat;
   5. (E) seal oil, with or without meat;
   6. (F) whale oil, with or without meat;
3. (3) fermented game meat, such as beaver tail, whale flipper, seal flipper, and muktuk;
4. (4) fermented seafood products, such as salmon eggs or fish;
5. (5) hermetically sealed low-acid food, unless the food is obtained from a food processing establishment that is permitted or certified by the local, state, or federal agency with jurisdiction;

6. (6) reduced-oxygen packaged food, unless

   1. (A) the food is obtained from a food processing establishment permitted under this chapter or 18 AAC 34;
   2. (B) the food meets the requirements of 18 AAC 31.265; or
   3. (C) the food is obtained from a source approved by the USDA or FDA;
7. (7) smoked or dried seafood products, unless those products are prepared in a seafood processing facility permitted under 18 AAC 34 or are from another approved source.
