Lease, permit, concession, or other interest term limitations

- (a) The maximum period for the term of a lease, permit, concession, or other interest, including extensions and periods of holdover, relating to an airport is 55 years.
- (b) Before the airport manager approves or extends the term of a lease, permit, concession, or other interest for a non-aeronautical use of a premises that the manager has determined in writing will be needed for an aeronautical use or for airport development in the future, the manager shall first estimate when the premises will likely be needed for aeronautical use or airport development. A term or a term extension for a non-aeronautical use of those premises may not run beyond the time that the manager estimates the premises will become needed for an aeronautical use or for airport development.
