(a) A pilot may park a transient aircraft only in an area the airport manager has designated for transient aircraft parking.
(b) A pilot who parks an aircraft in a transient aircraft parking area shall comply with all requirements posted by the airport manager in that area under 17 AAC 42.030(b) and as set out in airport operational orders.
(c) The airport manager
(1) may limit or prohibit transient aircraft parking on an airport for an aircraft that is not airworthy;
(2) may approve use of a transient aircraft parking space for aircraft maintenance or repair and for vehicles and equipment for fueling; and
(3) may impound an aircraft not authorized to park in a transient aircraft parking area as provided in 17 AAC 42.115.
(d) Except as otherwise provided under 17 AAC 42.030 or this section, a transient aircraft parking space may be used only to park, fuel, load, and unload aircraft.
(e) A transient aircraft parking space may not be used as a base of operations for a commercial aviation use.
(f) Transient aircraft parking fees are provided in the fee schedule for an airport established under 17 AAC 42.125.
