Unless the context indicates otherwise in this chapter

1. (1) "bus" means a vehicle designed primarily for the transportation of persons rather than property that has capacity for at least 16 passengers;
2. (2) "oversize vehicle permit" means a permit issued under 17 AAC 25 by the department to authorize oversize vehicles to travel on state highways;
3. (3) "traveling surface" means the portion of the highway designed for the movement of vehicles, including shoulders and auxiliary lanes.
