1. (a) Within one month after a decision described in AS 12.62.120(b)(5), a prosecuting agency shall report to the repository the decision for a case in which an arrest has been made or a citation has been issued for a misdemeanor, including

   1. (1) identification of the prosecuting agency;
   2. (2) the date of the decision;
   3. (3) identification of the agency that referred the charge to the prosecuting agency; and

   4. (4) for each charge, the

      1. (A) arrest tracking number; for a collateral offense an arrest tracking number is not required;
      2. (B) court case number if one has been assigned; for a collateral offense a court case number is required;
      3. (C) charge number; and
      4. (D) offense code.
2. (b) Information required under this section may be provided to the repository by mail, courier, electronic mail, facsimile, magnetic tape, or a method described in 13 AAC 68.100(b).
