A person, as defined in AS 01.10.060, may not install, sell, or offer for sale any fire-retardant paints or solutions, foam plastics, thermal barriers, or similar building products, purported to be fire resistant or for fire protective purposes unless the products have been listed by a nationally recognized testing laboratory.
