1. (a) Repealed 5/8/2002.
2. (b) A permit issued under AS 18.65.700 - 18.65.790 authorizes the permittee to carry a concealed handgun as provided by AS 11 and AS 18.65.700 - 18.65.790.
3. (c) The department will replace a permit if the permittee appears in person at an office of the Alaska State Troopers to certify under oath, on a form provided by the department, that the permit has been lost, stolen, or destroyed and to provide the items required by AS 18.65.730. Replacement of a permit under this subsection does not change the expiration date of that permit.

4. (d) The department will issue a permit to carry a concealed handgun to an honorably retired peace officer of this state who complies with the requirements of AS 18.65.700(e) and

   1. (1) repealed 5/8/2002;
   2. (2) repealed 5/8/2002;

   3. (3) provides the department with proof of

      1. (A) handgun training as specified in 13 AAC 30.090(a); or
      2. (B) handgun qualification as specified in 13 AAC 30.090(d).
